About the Tour

Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta full day tour takes you to visit Cu Chi tunnels and My Tho city, Tien Giang province, respectively. It starts from Cu Chi and ends in My Tho.

Cu Chi Tunnels is a famous destination located in the northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, about 70km from the city center. This is a legendary place in the resistance war against America of the Vietnamese people. Dubbed the “land of steel”, Cu Chi Tunnels has a tunnel system of more than 200km, which is considered an “impregnable underground village”.

Cu Chi Tunnels attract many tourists, especially international tourists when visiting Ho Chi Minh City. Today, some tunnels are renovated and opened more widely so that visitors can get in and out more easily.

After a visit to Cu Chi Tunnels, you continue to visit My Tho, Tien Giang province, located about 70km north of Ho Chi Minh City. This place is famous for its luxuriant fruit gardens, charming scenery and unique specialties. Coming here, you can experience the feeling of sitting on a sampan and admire the peaceful beauty of the Tien River, with 4 islets named: Long (Dragon), Lan (Unicorn), Quy (Turtle), Phung (Phoenix).

Visitors also have an opportunity to visit the coconut candy factory and possibly enjoy the Don Ca Tai Tu Nam Bo – an art form that has been associated with generations of people living in the countryside of South Vietnam. Detailed Itinerary:

7:00: The shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel in the city center and depart for Cu Chi. 

9:00: Upon arrival, before entering the tunnel, you’ll be briefed by your guide and watch an authentic video demonstrating how the Cu Chi tunnels were built and how the Vietnamese have survived the harsh conditions of the war.

• After that, you have time to explore the areas of the tunnel including the underground tunnel system, the kitchen area, the bedroom, the infirmary, the storage room, the weapons factory, the field hospital and work room.
• In addition, you also discover hidden traps and dangerous traps, helping to ensure security in the tunnel maze during the war.
• Then you will spend time drinking tea and enjoying Cassava (the main food of guerrillas during the war).

11:30: You will go to My Tho and have lunch at the local restaurant 

14:00: Continue to visit My Tho city with the boat trip on Tien River and get excited by the light breeze from the river 

• Next, cruise the small canal on a sampan, indulging yourself with the countryside’s beauty
• Then, take a horse around the local village – an unforgettable experience in Mekong Delta
• You then visit a coconut candy workshop and enjoy specialties like seasonal fruits and honey tea. 
• Last, have a chance to listen to Don ca tai tu Nam Bo – the Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by locals
• Join the cooking class to make traditional foods such as Banh Xeo, Cha Gio

Cancellation policy for deposited Tours:
a. If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded
b. If you are a “no-show” on the morning of the trip, for whatever reason, you will lose your deposit

Cancellation policy for full charged Tours:
a. Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: full refund
b. Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: no refund
c. Flight delayed, food poisoning, getting sick unable to attend tour. Under those circumstances, we agree to reschedule your start date with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost
d. The refund is done using the same payment method. In the event of credit cards which are charged monthly, the amount shall be credited at the end of the current invoicing period. The exact time of the refund depends on the user’s credit card agreement. The refund by bank transfer shall be done within seven bank working days.
