Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Full Day

This tour is ideal for people interested in the history of the Vietnam War or seeking a day vacation near Ho Chi Minh City. The journey brings you to two major tourist attractions: the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta.

The Cu Chi Tunnels, also known as the “iron triangle” during the Vietnam War, are a network of subterranean tunnels that served as a military base for resistance against US forces. Cu Chi was originally known as the “dead land” that had been ravaged by millions of bombs. Today, however, the region is still alive, combining renowned historical structures with Vietnamese culture.

The Mekong Delta is known as “the rice bowl” of Vietnam due to the seemingly endless fields of rice. In this water world, you will see houses and markets floating along the river. This is a fabulous destination for those who want to experience the humble beauty of the Mekong Delta, get closer to nature, and meet the hospitable people of this region.

07h00: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The journey will take roughly one and a half hours.

• Watch a short documentary film about Cu Chi during the war.
• Visit the boody traps used during wartime.
• Crawl through the tunnels.
• Taste the traditional cuisine, cassava with sesame, and sip panda green tea. 
• Travelers can turn back the clock and be a real guerrilla and fire AK-47s, M16s and other guns. (Cost of this must be covered by guest)

11h30: We will depart from Cu Chi to My Tho City for two hours by car. On the way to My Tho we will stop at a restaurant to have lunch.

• After arriving in My Tho you will get on a motorboat and discover 4 islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle Island. Visit the Bee Farm (taste lemon honey tea) and the Crocodile Farm.
• Walk along the village road and take a rowing boat along the coconut canal. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
• Continue on motorboat to Ben Tre Province, known as the “Coconut Kingdom.” Visit a coconut candy workshop, listen to traditional Southern music, and taste tropical fruits and honey green tea.

16h00: Return to My Tho and go back to Sai Gon. Farewell, and see you again.

Cancellation policy for deposited Tours:
a. If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded
b. If you are a “no-show” on the morning of the trip, for whatever reason, you will lose your deposit

Cancellation policy for full charged Tours:
a. Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: full refund
b. Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: no refund
c. Flight delayed, food poisoning, getting sick unable to attend tour. Under those circumstances, we agree to reschedule your start date with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost
d. The refund is done using the same payment method. In the event of credit cards which are charged monthly, the amount shall be credited at the end of the current invoicing period. The exact time of the refund depends on the user’s credit card agreement. The refund by bank transfer shall be done within seven bank working days.
