BA DEN MOUNTAIN – TAY NINH 1 DAY TOUR

Located about 100 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, Bà Đen Mountain is the highest peak in southern Vietnam, standing 986 meters above sea level. Known as the “Roof of the Southeast”, this mountain is famous for both its breathtaking scenery and deep spiritual significance.

According to legend, the mountain is dedicated to Linh Sơn Thánh Mẫu (Lady Bà Đen), a local goddess who symbolizes faith, courage, and compassion. Today, Bà Đen Mountain attracts millions of visitors and pilgrims each year who come to pray, explore, and enjoy its cool climate.

With the state-of-the-art Sun World cable car system, visitors can easily reach the summit, admire the Tây Bổ Đà Sơn Buddha Statue – the tallest bronze Buddha statue in Asia – and enjoy panoramic views of Tây Ninh Province. It’s the perfect combination of spirituality, nature, and adventure.

Morning:
06:30: The tour guide and driver pick you up and depart for Tây Ninh.
On the way, stop to enjoy Trang Bang rice noodle soup (bánh canh Trảng Bàng) – a famous local specialty.

10:00: Upon arrival in Tây Ninh city, visit the Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area:

• Take the Van Son cable car line (1,847m) to the Van Son peak – the highest point in Southern Vietnam (986m above sea level), known as the “roof of the Southeast region”.

• Visit the Tay Bo Da Son Buddha Statue – the tallest bronze Buddha statue in Asia, and the Maitreya (Di Lặc) Statue – one of the world’s largest sandstone Buddha statues.

Noon:
12:00: Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at Van Son Restaurant, featuring over 80 flavorful dishes representing different regions of Vietnam.

After lunch, continue with the second cable car line to visit:

• Linh Son Tien Thach Pagoda (Ba Temple) – one of the most sacred spiritual sites in Southern Vietnam.

• Hang Pagoda, located nearby, surrounded by peaceful natural scenery.

14:00: Then take the cable car back to the foot of the mountain and continue by car to visit:

• Holy See (Cao Đai Temple) – a colorful and unique architectural masterpiece symbolizing Caodaism.

• Stop by local shops to buy Tay Ninh specialties such as shrimp salt, rice paper, or tropical fruits.

Afternoon:
15:00: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, stop at Cu Chi (upon request) to enjoy local treats such as sugarcane juice at Vuon Cau and boiled cassava – famous snacks of the “land of steel.”

18:00: Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.

Cancellation policy for deposited Tours:
a. If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded
b. If you are a “no-show” on the morning of the trip, for whatever reason, you will lose your deposit

Cancellation policy for full charged Tours:
a. Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: full refund
b. Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: no refund
c. Flight delayed, food poisoning, getting sick unable to attend tour. Under those circumstances, we agree to reschedule your start date with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost
d. The refund is done using the same payment method. In the event of credit cards which are charged monthly, the amount shall be credited at the end of the current invoicing period. The exact time of the refund depends on the user’s credit card agreement. The refund by bank transfer shall be done within seven bank working days.
